Sensei Kent

Sensei George W. Kent began his training in Martial Arts in 1967. He holds Black belts in many different styles and is an Arizona State College Certified Instructor. Sensei Kent has competed in numerous tournaments throughout the United States, Canada, Alaska and Mexico and has won many trophies and medals for his efforts.

Sensei Kent teaches traditional Shotokan Karate with many modern as well as traditional methods. He also includes ground fighting techniques from Jujitsu, Sambo, Aikido and Greco-Roman wrestling.

Sensei Kent strives for students not to just become a tournament fighter, but to become a complete fighter that can fight standing on his feet or on the ground. Sensei Kent holds onto the value of true Karate Do, which stresses that the final end is not just in the defeat of the opponent, but in the growth and the development of the student's character.
